ArtHelsinki is the biggest and the most international art fair in Finland focusing exclusively on contemporary art. The Fair is held 2010 for the third time. This year's ArtHelsinki will be held concurrently with ahead! and Designpartners100 (Finland's two leading design events), as well as interiore (event for interior design professionals), Habitare and Light (trade fair for lighting professionals). With the number of estimated visitors ranging from 60,000 to 90,000, ArtHelsinki ranks as one of the large-scale art and design related events in Scandinavia. Visitors can attend ArtHelsinki and all other concurrent events with a single ticket. The event takes place on 1–5 September at the Helsinki Exhibition And Convention Centre, Finland’s largest fair and congress centre, which consists of six halls, offering 44,000 m² of exhibition space, in addition to comprehensive meeting, restaurant and hotel services. ArtHelsinki is a curated event, and can only be participated by the established galleries that have received our invitation. The Exhibition Committee consists of Kirsi Niemistö-Smedberg (Galleria Be'19), Frej Forsblom (Galerie Forsblom), Pilvi Kalhama (Gallery Kalhama & Piippo Contemporary), Katarina Siltavuori (Galleria Norsu), and Marjukka Uusitalo (Galleria Uusitalo). The ArtHelsinki fair area comprises around 3,000 m² of impressively designed and organized exhibition space. Further information
